This course prepares the chimney inspection technician to properly operate the chimney camera system through various setups, home protection, PPE requirements, photo samples of commonly seen defects through the many installation types. Along with the course, there is an open book multiple-choice exam, which upon passing, leads to a Chim-Scan® Factory Trained Technician (CSFT Tech) completion package with certificate, badge and patch.

Becoming a CSFT Tech is the training needed to fast-track the chimney inspection learning curve so the techs can properly operate the camera systems and record videos and pictures of healthy chimneys and chimney defects while in the field.
